Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is inviting applications for the posts of Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Flight) and Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) on contract basis in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation against newly created regular posts. Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)	06	50 years	Initially 3 years	(i)            Should have an Airline Transport Pilot’s License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.  (ii)           Should have an Open rating for all types of aeroplanes having all-up-weight not exceeding 5,700 kgs.  (iii)          total experience of not less than 6,000 hours and not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on air transport aircraft.  (iv) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.  Desirable:  (i) should have held the qualification of an examiner/ instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)	23	40 years	Initially 3 years	(i)            Should have an Airline Transport Pilot’s License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.  (ii)           total experience of not less than 5,000 hours and not less than 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on civil air transport aircraft  (iii)          Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.  Desirable: Should have held the qualification of an examiner/ instructor/ check pilot approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services. NOTE: Candidates beyond the age of 65 years or those medically unfit may also be considered against fixed remuneration posts provided they have held ATP Licence issued by DGCA with a PIC rating on civil AT aircraft.

Pay/Salary:        

a             Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs. 8700 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance. (The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs.5.6 lacs (approx) per month). 

b             Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 7600 in PB 3  with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 4000 per hour for 70 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance (The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs.3.74 lacs (approx) per month).
