Goa Public Service Commission Recruitment Notification 2014 for Scientific Officer, Executive Engineer & Lecturers in Radiology, Causality: It is a good news for the candidates who are looking for government jobs. The Goa Public service commission has released a latest notification for 12 various posts. So interested and eligible candidates can apply through offline. The eligible candidates can download the application form from GPSC website. The application should be accomplished by an Indian Postal demand for the amount will be payable to “The Secretary, GOA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION” payable ate Panjim. Candidates should fill application form properly, Incomplete application can be rejected by the commission of the Goa Public Service Commission and should be sent to the GPSC on or before the last date of receipt of applications 31-07-2014.
Number of applications should received by the candidates, the commission will shortlist the candidates, then called for the interview. The candidates age should be less than 42 years only. Goa Public Service Commission Posts and Vacany Details:
1. Name of the Post: Lecture in Radiology –02 posts
Education Qualification: Candidate must have completed their
- A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post Graduate degree qualification in the specialty concerned or equivalent.
- At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution.
- Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Pay/Salary: Rs.15, 600-39,100+6,600/- pm
2. Name of the Post: Assistant Lecturer in Casualty -- 01
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have completed their
- A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Registered for Postgraduate Degree in concerned speciality. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay/ Salary: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/- pm
3. Name of the post: Assistant Head Occupational Therapist in Orthopaedic Surgery -- 01
Educational Qualification: Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their Essential:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational therapy from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
- 3 years practical experience in case of Degree holders, and 6 years practical experience in case of Diploma holders in Occupational Therapy in a recognized Institution/Hospital.
- Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay / Salary: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/- pm
4. Name of The Post: Scientific Officer (Preservation) ---01
Educational Qualification: Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their Essential:
- At least Second Class Master’s degree in Chemistry or Physics of a recognized University or equivalent.
- 3 years experience of research or teaching or work in a Govt. Records Office.
- Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Training in modern methods of rehabilitation & preservation of records. (ii) Research on paper, ink, leather, examination of documents, use of insecticides and fumigants; practical experience & training in high class binding work in a responsible capacity. (iii) Experience in repair and / or preservation of records in a Government Records Office.
- Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay / salary: Rs.9, 300-34,800+4,600/- pm
5. Name of The Post: Executive Engineer (Electrical) – 07
Educational Qualification: Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their Essential:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Eight years experience as an Electrical Engineer in a responsible post.
- Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi.
Pay / Salary: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/- pm

Rs.400/- For General category candidates and for ST/ ST / OBC/ Physically Handicapped is Rs.200/-
Selection Process: Candidates should be selected on the basis of an interview
