Selection Procedure: Written test and interview
Salary: Staring salary of IB ACIO will be 20,000 inclusive all allowances.
Roles and Responsibilities: Assistant Intelligence Officers will work in any state across the country and these functions are similar to Sub Inspectors in Police Department. They have to analyze or study and collect information about various scams, the internal security situation, to assess the threat of terrorism.
Career Path: Candidates who joined as IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officer can be promoted as Assistant Intelligence Officer Grade I, Deputy Central Intelligence Officer, Joint Deputy Director, Additional Deputy Director, Deputy Director, Joint Director and Additional Director based on their performance.

Paper I Consists of
1. Arithmetic
2. Logical Reasoning
3. English
4. General Awareness
Under General Awareness, you will have questions regarding current affairs, world history, world geography, world economy, India's ancient, Indian economy, the Indian political system, Indian geography and etc.
Paper II: Here you have to write 3 or 4 articles. For this, you have to prepare latest topics, history topics, latest developments and etc. If you have neat handwriting you may get good marks.
